Our Vision

     The vision of New Hope Christian Center is to be a Spiritual Hospital: bringing healing everywhere you hurt, in the name of Jesus.  We will endeavor with God's grace through the power of His Word to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of all who enter here.  We will strive for excellence and fight apathy and indifference in all aspects of our ministry.  We desire to be a people of energy who serve the Lord with passion and enthusiasm.  We  will be an ever changing, obedient body of Christ, allowing Jesus to be the Head of this church and asking God to be in control of every service.  Realizing that God wants His people to prosper, we will teach giving of our tithes, time, and talents in order to defeat poverty and lack.  Knowing that racism is not of God, we will not tolerate prejudice, but rather, encourage people of all ethnicities to catch the vision and worship together each week.    

                                                                                      Our Structure

New Hope Christian Center desires to glorify God through equipping and encouraging our members to serve in the local body of Christ.  Our way of equipping and encouraging members to serve is found in the Ministry System approach. The NHCC Ministry  emphasizes people over programs and service over being served.  We believe that the Ministry System will create personal growth within the believer and will stimulate corporate growth of the body of believers by involving and retaining our members. (I Peter 4:10&11 and Ephesians 4:7-16)  Fellowship is offered as a means of enabling one to become involved with the church as we labor together in His ministry.  Fellowship will cause one to be able to draw on all the resources of the ministry without reservation.  It will also provide each one with an opportunity to give as well as receive.  There are many areas of ministry where one can use the talents and abilities the Lord has given him/her.  This can be accomplished as all are joined together in unity and love to accomplish God's will.

                                                                                      Our Purpose

       It shall be the purpose of New Hope Christian Center to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and to be a Spiritual Hospital providing spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial healing through the process of bringing believers to spiritual maturity.  Through the Word of God and the ministry of the body of Christ, the church will seek to build the believer's Christian foundations of faith and practice, nurturing them by providing a loving, supportive environment; train every believer to discover and use his or her spiritual gifts for the sake of the body of Christ; and send those whom God is calling to be involved in fulltime Christian ministry.  We will seek to glorify God in worship through praise, prayer, teaching, proper living, and stewardship of the resources entrusted to the church. (Matt.4:10; I Cor.10:31; Eph.5:18; Heb 13:15)

        What We Believe

New Hope Christian Center is a nondenominational Christian fellowship that exists to glorify God. We are part of the movement to restore the church of Jesus back to the principles founding the New Testament Scriptures. The only source for what we teach is the Bible, which is God-given, and is held as the final authority on all issues pertaining to the Christian life. Our purpose is to develop mature Christians.

          We believe Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead. (I Corinthians 15:1-8)

            …that every person is valuable to God, but that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) 

            …that forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:15)

            …that accepting Christ should repent of sins, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him.

(Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)

             …that the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to save the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

             …that Jesus Christ will one day return to take His people with Him to spend eternity in heaven.

                (I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
